AEL has Special Interest Groups (SIGs) for lawyers in each member firm with specialist skills. Each SIG is run by an SIG Convenor who is a lawyer from one of the member firms. The SIGs hold conference calls to talk regularly on legal issues, to share know how from their jurisdictions and meet once a year not only to get to know each other in person but to host events for clients. AEL currently has Special Interest Groups in the following areas;
